Trash Trip

Exploring waste, from coast to coast.

California to Kamloops

So far, I’ve driven “a buncha” miles from California to Kamloops, BC.   I’m viewing Concord, CA as the starting point for the northbound trip, but I could go so far as to say that this trip began in Omaha.  When people ask me, “Where are you from, ” I hesitate with an answer.  I then ask them, “How far back do you want to go?”  Ultimately, the short answer is, “I’m from all over the place,” and that seems to get more nods of understanding than not.

Otherwise, my legs are, as I like to describe, ornaments.  The northwest, thankfully, offers views that make the drive very enjoyable, taking my mind off the fact that my legs are atrophying.  I haven’t taken a single picture of the drive!  I have, however, recorded video of most of my trip.  Using a sneaky-looking lipstick cam, I am using it with my trusty ol’ Archos AV500.  They don’t make ’em like they used to.  I would like to consult with them, on a few product ideas.  Perhaps in my next career.

I’ll add more to this page, after I’ve driven a little further. . . and further. . . and further still.  It’s a long drive, from Vancouver to Fairbanks!
