My morning view, after car-amping across the highway from the (full) Liard Hot Springs park. Cool sign, in the parking lot (aka, my car-camping site). A little history about Liard Hot Springs. It was used by highway workers; women had one day a week where it was "Ladies Night Only."
It's a good things these bear-proof containers have lids. . . um, mostly. What doesn't fit, goes in the nearby pile. You know, big things like empty bottles and paper. Putting things into perspective - looking at the entrance to the park, just across the highway.
Heading south, shortly after leaving the Liard Hot Springs. Long, lost highway view. Long, lost highway view.
Long, lost highway view. The Sasquatch Restaurant stop - where they sell the WORST chocolate cake, BTW. Entering Dawson Creek (note, Dawson City is north, in the Yukon Territory - not to be confused, as I was from time to time).
